ARTIST HOUSING — CO-LIVING SINCE 2001
Artist Housing began in 2001, when founder Kelvin Xuna started renting rooms to fellow students and creatives in Boulder, Colorado. The business was incorporated in Florida in 2008, began operating in Los Angeles in 2010, and opened the Artist Housing DTLA flagship at 807 S. Flower St. in 2012.
Artist Housing is one of the first branded co-living companies in the United States, operating years before Pure House (2012), Common (2015) and WeWork's WeLive (2016), and it is the first co-living community built specifically for film and music artists.
